Blue and White Diamond Drop Pendant in Platinum
Any pendant which can be made with near-colourless diamonds can also be made with coloured diamonds. We made this pendant to a customers design specfication, and we hope they were as pleased with the end result as we were.
The main difficulty we had with this order was matching the shades of blue, which is alot more difficult than you would think!
The Pear Shape
The pear shape, also called teardrop or pendeloque, diamond is a variation of the round brilliant cut. It could be considered as a round brilliant cut at one end, and a marquise shape at the other end. the marquise cut is itself a modified brilliant cut.
Princess Cut
The princess cut is the most successful of the modern cuts developed for diamonds. It combines the square shape with the brilliance of a brilliant cut.
